Getting started.

Getting started. That's usually the hardest part right? Putting the first words down on paper. Showing up. It means making a decision, making a move, and the scary thing is, you might be wrong. You might look stupid.

Risking isn't usually easy. Even seemingly small risks can hold us back from taking the first step. But it's necessary of course.

Even as I write this blog post, I'm taking a risk. I'm putting myself out there knowing someone may read it and not like it. They'll think what I'm saying is boring, or stupid, or poorly written. I know I'll read it back and want to change it. I'll want to rewrite every word and paragraph until I think it's perfect. But it will never be perfect, and that's OK.

So get started. Do it imperfectly. Fail. And be OK with failing. And then tomorrow, do it again.
